This is a superficial strength peel. This means that it only takes the surface layer of skin away. This peel promotes a slow release of the medication for continuous penetration of the skin. This is ideal for people who do not want visible skin flaking. The peel works as an exfoliation technique, promoting stimulation of healthy skin without the obvious signs of exfoliation.

The peel acts as a deep exfoliate eliminating the surface layer of skin that has been damaged by many different factors such as sun exposure, wind, pollution or smoking

Treatment procedure

You will be informed at your consultation of a specific skin care regime needed before the treatment to ensure skin is in optimal condition to maximise the effects. The procedure itself will take around 30 minutes. The skin is cleansed before the solution is applied to the affected areas. The solution is applied in layers; once the first layer is dried a second layer will be applied. Then when this is completed a post-peel mask will be applied and massaged into the skin.

Will the procedure hurt?

During the procedure you may experience a slight burning sensation but this is very minimal. Following the procedure there may be slight redness that will subside after around 12 hours. The day after the procedure the skin will start to feel smooth, tight and fresh.
